Erica Camisa Morale

I research the origins of literary lyrics in the 17th and 18th centuries in today’s Belarus, East Poland, Russia, and Ukraine. I attempt to identify the strategies and steps through which lyric selfhood and poetry emerged, connecting the East Slavic experience with the traditions it was in dialogue with, mainly the Classical and the West European ones.
